Course Description

Introduction

Radiation safety refers to safety issues related to radiation hazards arising from the handling of radioactive materials or chemicals and exposure to x-ray from x-ray machines, electron microscopes, particle accelerators, atomic energy plants, nuclear explosions or accidents etc.. Radiation is extremely harmful to humans and animals. It can cause death or short to long-term radiation sickness by damaging organs and tissues.

Radiation Safety: Safely Working with Radioactive Materials is a high important  Training course which will provide the skills to work with radiation materials and which will teach on handling of radiation materials safely and methods of maintaining health and safety of the workmen

The course will provide you with all the necessary information and abilities to successfully understand both ionising and non-ionising types of radiation materials and, how to effectively manage these radiation materials safely and with confidence to ensure personnel health and safety and/or to prevent potential environmental impacts
